DODSON RETURNS TO THE USAC SILVER CROWN SERIES WITH A THIRD PLACE FINISH

Cameron Dodson returned to the USAC Silver Crown Series for the first time following a near fatal accident last November. Dodson has made an extraordinary recovery following his accident and has made a recovery not many, including his doctors expected this soon, or at all. The twenty year old returned to the series with a third place finish in the James River Grounds 100 this weekend at Richmond International Raceway. The race is only his fourth start in the Silver Crown Series.

Driving the No. 199 car owned by NASCAR driver Carl Edwards, Dodson began the race in 14th position moving up eleven sports by the end of the 100 lap race. Dodson said after the race, "I'm very excited to have the opportunity to be back at a race track in a racecar, but even more fortunate to have the Carl Edwards/R.E. Technologies team behind me. I can't thank Chris (Santucci) and the entire team enough."
