CAMERON DODSON RETURNS TO VICTORY LANE IN THE CASEY'S GENERAL STORE CHALLENGE AT IOWA SPEEDWAY!
Defending his win from 2008, Dodson qualified his No. 991 Roush Yates Engine Ford second, led the first lap and ran in the top three for 89 of the 100 lap race. Leading the final laps in front of an estimated crowd of 21,000, the Greenfield, Indiana native took the checkered flag in the USAC Silver Crown Series Casey's General Stores Challenge for the second time in two years.
Making only his third start since a near fatal accident in Novemer, the 21 year old's future behind the wheel was doubtful, his recovery and subsequent success behind the wheel has been remarkable. Since his return Dodson has finished third at Richmond, ninth at O'Reilly Raceway Park and first in Friday's race at Iowa Speedway.
